Reuben Gross worked with Yechiel Landau, a prominent Brooklyn developer, to create this
8-story on a 30,000 SF vacant lot under the elevated subway.
The building was designed as low-income housing for the "formerly homeless" population in conjunction with NYC Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) and New York State Department of Housing and Community Renewal (DHCR)
The building contains 175,000 SF including 123 apartments; a mix of Studios, 1BR, 2BR and 3BR units, 25,000 SF of Retail and Community Facility space and 34 parking spaces.
The building was completed in 2008
The total development cost was $24 million
